In 2026 Seemic established an R&D center in Wuhan, forming a dual-site layout with the headquarters in Qiantang, Hangzhou.
Wuhan is the academic and technical foundation of the founding team. With the R&D center in place, three technology lines — optical system design, algorithm modeling and precision mechanics — advance within one team: the optical R&D lead defines the instrument-level optical roadmap, metrology algorithm engineers handle RCWA and FEM forward modeling and inverse problem solving, and precision mechanics and motion control engineers own the stage and automation flow.
The dual-site layout also keeps the company closer to university and research institute collaboration, easing joint validation on leading-edge processes.
